Setting Your Fitness Goals

Are you as strong, flexible, and physically fit as you would like to be? If you are, good for you. We hope this chapter has helped reaffirm your commitment to physical fitness and given you ideas to keep you motivated. However, if you want to make some improvements, here's one piece of advice: Try to improve a little bit at a time.

The only way to walk a mile is to take 1 step at a time. The only way to improve your fitness level is to take it 1 step at a time.

Consistency brings success. Each success may be a small one, but small successes can quickly add up to a level of physical fitness that will make a big difference in your life.
